These glycerin-based tinctures are little patient friendly, gentle and safe. As always, any food allergies your child may have will be taken into consideration. I work in conjunction with your pediatrician’s recommendations to manage common childhood ailments while helping tend to stuffy noses, allergies, stomach aches, stress and anxiety
Herbal Granules and Prepared Herbal Remedies
Granules are decoctions that have been concentrated into powder, kind of like bouillon – you add warm water to make your dose of tea. This is ideal for busy people who also want to drink their herbs rather than taking capsules. They are also customizable in a way that pills are not, so I can tinker with them to get just the right fit for you. Capsules, Tablets and Caplets are available in many commonly used and effective remedies. Ease of use, ease of travel and practicality for longer term treatments make these the herbal form of choice for many. And often these stocked up to quickly address colds, allergies, stomach ailments that show up between treatments.
Soaks & External Remedies
For foot injuries, neuropathy or just itchy feet, herbal foot soaks are effective and you don’t have to taste them to get better! Herbal washes and tinctures can be helpful for all kinds of skin irritations, and even herbal enemas can be effectively utilized for severe digestive and gynecological conditions.
Healing with Food
Food is personal. Our relationship with food and our appetites is personal and often fraught with “shoulds”. I want to help my patients feel great about what they are eating – satisfied and comforted, energized and delighted, and most of all allowed to enjoy and savor. The wisdom of Chinese dietary recommendations can help create a daily menu that promotes health AND happiness. And many herb/food remedies can be found in your kitchen and pantry. Knowing the reasons why ginger or mint or cardamom or scallions or pears might help a certain ailment helps you make healing choices that suit your constitution.

Still have some questions?
“As a heart transplant survivor, Elizabeth has worked with me over the past few years as complications have become part of my norm. The herbal medicines that are appropriate for me have helped me and I can actually eat food again! The day I was allowed to have needles (vs acupressure) was a happy day for the both of us. She is knowledgeable and welcoming to her patients. I have told so many people that she is the best acupuncturist around! ”
